Radio Killed It As The Video Star!

Today was incredible.
We packed up our gear and drove up to Biddeford, ME. We had the use of the Biddeford City Theatre for five hours today and shooting went so well. The two gentlemen who let us in and helped us with the theatre were wonderful, and the theatre itself (a restored 1890s opera house) was as gorgeous as ever. It was the perfect location for our fundraising video and we are so pleased we got to use it.
I wish I had advance screenshots to show you but for now, we are just too exhausted! We got up at 4 AM and are just getting home now.

We had a lot of fun with the vintage style shots of the character Radio on stage with a Shure 55SH broadcast mic. What I am really looking forward to right now is putting everything together with the technicolor look in post... That and shooting our actors tomorrow... and Sunday's secret location. Okay, I'm excited about all of it!
Teaser pictures to come soon...

The Last Night on Planet Earth

Tonight is the last night on Earth. By this I mean, it is the last night before we really jump fully into this production and enter the alternate universe in which this film is possible and we are actually tying ourselves to it.
Tomorrow we shoot at a restored 1890s opera house in Maine. We have dolly shots, 1950s costume, hair, and makeup, and an interview setting where we make our pitch. Once our fundraising goes live, all of the info will be put up. For now... we are playing everything a little close to the vest.
Crossing my fingers!
